- We have been reconciled to God Himself through Jesus Christ who is the Mediator between God and man

- In some ways the restoration of the perfect bond between God and Adam
- Man had failed God and was at emnity with God
- We need to be reconciled with God
- As humans we blame others - example
- Yet God provided for us
- We would never be the 'prime mover' to reconciliation - God was the prime mover
- God sent His Son into the world to reconcile us to Himself

- Reconciliation is for those who believe and trust in Him
- What share and fear we would feel if we had to given an account to God
- We have been reconciled to the living God
